The Cavaliers are leading 1-0 after Saturday’s 97-83 victory in Game 1. Donovan Mitchell was outstanding for Cleveland as the top scorer with 30 points. Jarret Allen (16 points, 18 rebounds, and 2 assists) and Evan Mobley (16 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists) each registered a double-double for the Cavs. Despite the loss, Paolo Banchero added 24 points in 41 minutes for Orlando.
Cleveland finished the regular season in fourth place in the East, with a home record of 26-15 and a conference mark of 32-21. Ty Jerome is out of today’s meeting due to an ankle injury, while Dean Wade and Craig Porter Jr. are listed as “day-to-day.”
Orlando aims to tie the series with a win as visitors, a scenario in which they compiled a regular-season record of 18-23. The Magic finished in fifth place in the Eastern Conference and reached the postseason for the first time since the 2019/20 season.
